How to install
Your Store Hour Window Decals
Tools needed: Windex and paper towels, a small hand squeegee (a credit card will work if you do not have one), painters tape, and a razor blade or scissors.
1CLEAN YOUR SURFACE
2 Rub the surface and back of your decal with your squeegee.
To help get the decal letters and number applied to the application tape, rub the surface of your decal fully with your squeegee, then flip it over and do the same to the back.
3 MEASURE AND TAPE
Measure your surface and place your decal (with backing in-tact) on the window. Tape in place with painters tape.
4 PEEL BACK HALF OF THE BACKING
Peel back the backing of your decal on one side of the tape only. The letters should all be attached to your application tape and not the backing. If letters stick to the backing, press down over the app tape to pick them up, then peel back again.
5 REMOVE THE BACKING YOU PEELED AWAY
Cut the backing you peeled away from the decal off. Keep the application tape and decal in your hand for now.
6 Squeegee from center to the edge slowly and carefully.
Carefully from the center apply your decal with a squeegee. Apply in an up and down direction slowly moving to the edge of the decal. Ensure the decal and application tape are laying flat and not wrinkled as you go.
7 Remove tape and remaining backing.
Remove the painters tape, and hold the decal back to remove the rest of the backing. If parts of the decal stick, press down on them over the app tape with your squeegee.
8 Squeegee slowly from the center to the edge.
Slowly squeegee from the center to the edge to apply the rest of your decal. Ensure the decal and application tape are laying flat as you go and not wrinkled.
9 Squeegee over the entire decal to ensure adhesion.
Once fully applied, squeegee over entire decal to ensure good adhesion of your letters and numbers.
10 From the edge, slowly remove application tape.
From the edge, slowly remove the application tape.
Finished
Your store window decal should now be installed!
