The Ally flag, sometimes called the Straight Ally flag was designed for straight, or heterosexual and cisgender persons, to show that they support and/or accept equal civil rights, gender equality, and LGBT social movements, challenging what they perceive as homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia. Even though the first use of this flag is not clearly documented, we know that it has been helping straight Allies show their support since the late 2000’s.
